Dr. Mark Poray completed his honors undergraduate degree in kinesiology at York University in 1975. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a doctor of chiropractic In 1985. During that time he won the Douglas Brown scholarship as well as the David Percival Award. He has been in practice in the east end of Toronto and Durham region since 1985. Dr. Poray utilizes what is known as a diversified technique. This means he is familiar with several styles and will use the one most appropriate for the patient. In the clinic he treats expectant mothers, athletes, and adults. He also treats seniors and children. For these patients he uses special gentle techniques and the Neuromechanical Impulse instrument. Dr. Poray is very involved in treating athletes. This includes professional, elite and national age group athletes in many sports. He has treated athletes at the Olympic, Pan Am and Invictus Games as well as many world championships. Has been the team chiropractor to the Toronto Rock professional lacrosse team and has served as team doctor for the Brooklin Senior A Lacrosse Club, Scarborough Saints Junior B Lacrosse Club,  Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax and Whitby Swim clubs, Pickering/Ajax Senior B Lacrosse Club, and the Pickering Panthers Junior A Hockey Club and provided services to the Canadian Sports Centre.  Dr. Poray has contributed articles to professional journals and magazines as well as having been a frequent lecturer and associate clinician at the chiropractic college in Toronto. He is a Certified Kinesio-Taper (CKT), Sports Nutrition Specialist (SNS) and holds a post-graduate diploma in sports medicine (ICSC) from FICS (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic).
