Leonor is a therapist with over 30 years of experience working in various mental health institutions in Canada and abroad. Leonor follows a client-centered approach in her practice, meaning what leads the therapeutic process is the professional connection between the therapist and the client. Leonor aims to create an atmosphere of meaningful openness and trust to facilitate the client’s growth and meet their needs.
As a therapist for individuals, couples and families, Leonor works collaboratively to help people in achieving an inner new experience, self-awareness and support in their lives. Leonor has worked extensively with couples dealing with marital conflicts and identifying the patterns that hinder their connection and communication, individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and families facing challenging transitions and communication problems.
Leonor is fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew and is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Leonor is available for telephone and video therapy sessions.
