Melissa Oerbach, M.A., RP

Melissa is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is a graduate from York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (B.A., Honours) as well as a graduate from the Adler School of Professional Psychology with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology (M.A.).
With over 16 years of experience within the field of psychotherapy, specifically in children’s mental health and adult mental health, Melissa has provided individual, family, and couples therapy. Melissa strives to develop a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, in order to facilitate healing and positive shifts within the lives of her clients. Melissa’s calm demeanor offers gentle support to her clients as they learn how to address their vulnerabilities to promote the positive change they desire to achieve. Specifically, Melissa has extensive experience in high conflict separation and divorce, relationship difficulties, parent-child conflict, anxiety, and depression.
Utilizing a client-centered approach, Melissa’s empathy, care, and compassion for others allows her to meet her clients where they are at, in the moment, starting them off on a journey of healing and discovery.
Melissa is available for telephone and video therapy sessions.
